Antique Japanese Imari Octagonal Porcelain Plates – Set of Five – Circa 1900
Product Description
A Beautiful Set of Five Antique Japanese Imari Porcelain Plates
Offered by I Ching Antiques is this charming collection of five matching Japanese Imari porcelain plates, believed to date from the late Meiji to early Taisho period, circa 1890–1920.
Each plate features an elegant octagonal form decorated with traditional Japanese floral and geometric patterns.
The central floral bouquets are rendered in warm iron-red and deep cobalt-blue enamels, surrounded by intricately decorated borders incorporating green accents and contrasting geometric designs.
The eight-sided form adds architectural interest, making these plates especially attractive for decorative display.
Each plate bears a small red Japanese mark on its underside.
The five matching plates would make a beautiful wall arrangement, an attractive addition to a porcelain collection, or an elegant decorative accent in a traditional interior.
