A striking pair of 20th-century Chinese porcelain jar-form table lamps, mounted on turned dark wood bases with brass fittings. Each lamp features hand-painted polychrome enamel decoration (Famille Verte palette) portraying court ladies (Meiren) and young boys playing in a traditional fenced scholar's garden under weeping willow and pine trees.
