Vintage Tortoiseshell Burnt Bamboo Nesting Tables – Set of Three, c. 1960

A decorative set of three vintage bamboo nesting tables featuring a beautifully mottled burnt or “tortoiseshell” finish. Each table is constructed from bamboo with inset slatted bamboo tops, rounded bamboo frames, and stretcher supports.

The three graduated tables nest neatly together when not in use and can also be separated as occasional tables, plant stands, or display tables. The warm golden-brown bamboo and naturally varied scorched finish give the set wonderful texture and character.

Likely dating to the mid-20th century, circa 1950s–1960s, these pieces reflect the enduring popularity of Asian-inspired bamboo furniture in Western interiors during this period.

Condition
