Product Description
A wonderfully rustic Chinese provincial bench crafted from solid elm, with a thick plank seat, simple four-leg construction, and an exceptionally expressive aged surface.

The bench shows deep grain, natural checking, worn edges, old wooden repairs, and traditional pegged joinery that give it tremendous character. Its compact proportions make it especially versatile as an entry bench, low side table, display stand, or decorative accent.

The surface has the warm, textured appearance collectors and designers prize in old Chinese country furniture, with visible evidence of age and use throughout. We have intentionally left the finish and old repairs undisturbed.
