Description

An exceptional late 19th-to-early 20th-century Timuri Baluch tribal rug featuring a rare and highly sought-after repeating prayer niche (mihrab) design. Hailing from Eastern Persia / Western Afghanistan, this authentic hand-knotted piece displays vertically stacked columns of stylized architectural arches rendered in a rich, traditional palette of deep madder red, indigo blue, dark forest green, and walnut brown, accented with natural ivory geometric details.

Its low, lustrous hand-spun wool pile and time-honored tribal motifs make it a compelling accent piece for collectors and interior designers seeking genuine antique patina and character.
