Pair of Vintage Chinese Famille Rose Medallion Baluster Vases – 14.5"
Description
Add classic Grandmillennial elegance to your interior with this striking, matched pair of vintage Chinese Famille Rose porcelain baluster vases. Standing at an impressive 14.5 inches tall, these vases feature the highly sought-after "Rose Medallion" layout, showcasing alternating panels of finely detailed courtly figures in traditional interiors alongside vibrant arrangements of peonies, birds, and butterflies.
The necks and shoulders are ornamented with high-relief sculpted elements, including stylized Buddhist lion-dog handles and applied chilong (dragons). The interior rims are finished with a delicate band of the Eight Auspicious Treasures. The undersides bear an iron-red stamped apocryphal six-character Qianlong reign mark, characteristic of quality export porcelain produced in the Jingdezhen kilns during the late 20th century.
Perfectly scaled for a fireplace mantel, buffet, or console table, this pair delivers the monumental presence and rich color palette of traditional export porcelain.
