Set of Three Antique Chinese White-Metal Teapots | Late Qing–Republic Period

Description
A distinctive set of three antique Chinese metal teapots, dating approximately to the late Qing Dynasty through the Republic period, circa 1900–1930.

Each pot has its own form and character, with loop handles, fitted lids, and elongated spouts. One features raised decorative relief around the body, while the others have simpler utilitarian forms. Together, they make an especially attractive decorative grouping.

The metal appears to be a Chinese white-metal alloy, likely pewter or a related tin-rich composition, with areas of darkened patina, oxidation, and surface wear developed through age and use. These untouched surfaces give the group considerable visual character and authenticity.

Ideal displayed together on a console, sideboard, shelving, or within a collection of Chinese scholar’s objects and Asian decorative arts.
